The Crazy Season

I am just starting to feel like I'm getting the house sorted for baby #2 (due 6 April 2011!)
We (hubby & I) need to clear out our office, to make it the 3rd bedroom. Our office is just jam-packed with rubbish. I have slowly been sorting it out and boxing things up that we don't need to have out, but that we can't bare to get rid of.
But last night and today, almost real progress is getting made. We have moved all the computer bits into our bedroom, on a 'new' second hand desk. Which makes our room seem half the size, but it's quite cosy, as long as we hang our clothes up each night! haha
Hubby told me I have to take the Christmas tree down right away if we are going to sort the overloaded office out. We have about 10 plastic storage containers in there at the moment, and the Christmas boxes need to be put back into the shed first, therefore the tree and decorations have to go.
But I can now see light at the end of the tunnel, finally! Soon all the office will be packed down into boxes and can all be put outside, once we buy another shed. Yep, we do need to buy another shed. But at least if all the boxes are packed, moving them is easy peasy japanesy.

I'm also freaking out, there is a baby, and nothing is going to stop it from coming out... And my other child, the first born, will still be living here. With a first child I had no idea how hard it was going to be... but now that I know how hard a baby is, I don't know if I can do it with a little toddler too!
How is it that we are allowed to get pregnant when we already have a child in the house!?

  1. Oh Steph, I'm sure you'll do fine with both, apparently it's spose to be better 2nd time around since you're apparently much more relaxed & know whats going on (but I wouldn't know for certain, obviously I can't speak from experience, lol). You're a good mummy with Isaac. We're here for you though if you need anything :)

  2. Well I'm exhausted just reading your blog today Steph. Possibly because I'm a basically lazy person who does anything to avoid actual housework. My Christmas tree will might even stay up all year yet.

I know you'll do fine with a baby and a preschooler. People have done it for thousands of years and somehow the human race manages to muddle through.

And everything that Kellzm said: you're a fab mum and lots of people love you and there are loads of eager babysitters :-D
